MAP Fund Management Services Ltd (MAP FMS) is an Alternative Investment Funds Manager (AIFM), authorised and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) with license number AIFM41/56/2013.
We specialise in the management of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and the asset management of private and institutional clients, offering comprehensive solutions for both AIFs and Registered AIFs (RAIFs). George Charalambous
Executive Director
George Charalambous (BSc, MSc) is an expert in investment analysis and portfolio management.
He has worked for six years as the Head of Asset Management at Symmetria F.S. Ltd, an Investment Firm specialising in advising institutional clients for the determination and implementation of investment strategies. Prior to joining the firm, George worked as a competitiveness attaché at the Permanent Representation of Cyprus in the EU (Brussels) and as a contract agent of the European Commission (DG CNECT) in Brussels.
George has professional experience in investment analysis, investment advice and portfolio management and has worked with the major pension/provident funds and institutional investors in Cyprus. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia (Greece), and a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment with an emphasis in capital markets and investment strategy from the University of Brighton (UK).

Andreas Michalias
Head of Portfolio Management
Andreas Michalias is the Head of Portfolio Management at MAP Fund Management Services Limited.
He is responsible for the investment strategies of the funds under management, as well as the company’s business development efforts. His clients consist of institutional customers including Investment Firms, Investment Funds (AIFs, RAIFs and AIFLNPs), Insurance Companies, Provident Funds, and Pension Funds.
Andreas has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector of Cyprus. As a senior Portfolio Manager Officer at Hellenic Bank and Bank of Cyprus, Andreas was involved in the preparation and presentation of investment policy statements and investment strategies to institutional clients and High Net Worth Individuals. Furthermore, he was responsible for the monitoring of the portfolios’ overall performance and ensured that the investment decisions executed were carried out in compliance with the customers’ predefined investment objectives and risk profiles.
As an Executive Director at 7Q Investment Group, he handled the organisation’s business development efforts, while being accountable for the timely and efficient execution of clients’ orders. During his employment at 7Q, Andreas was involved in the organization of many corporate projects, serving as a liaison with executives and departments heads, drafting schedules and business plans, and allocating resources and personnel for the implementation and execution of the group’s long-term plans and proposals.
Andreas is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE), a Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the CSE, and the Secretary of the Funds Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). He has also served as Executive and Non-Executive Director in various boards, including those for Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs) and Cyprus Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
Andreas has an MSc in International Securities, Investments and Banking from the University of Reading, ICMA Centre UK, and a bachelor’s degree in finance and Maths from Norwich University. He is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds the Advanced Certificate of Professional Competence and the AML Compliance Officer Certifications, as well as the Certificate from the American Institute of Banking.
